This Aberlour 19 Year Old Sherry Cask is a single cask offering that was matured in a first fill sherry butt for 19 years. It’s a sweet and fruity Speyside dram that has been released for the Asian market, making it hard to get your hands on anywhere else, except here at Whisky Foundation. The whisky brings notes of dried fruits, sherried raisins and then comes some ground coffee beans and cocoa leaves. Pipe tobacco is apparent on the finish, joined once again by more dried fruits and some pears. As a single cask whisky released for the Asian market, quantities are very limited.
