"This is a blend of 50 Merlot, 25 Cabernet Sauvignon and 25 Sangiovese. The 2017 Bolgheri Rosso Pievi is fermented in stainless steel and later aged in large oak casks. Although you do feel the summer heat here in terms of the saturated ripeness and concentration of the fruit, the wine is put together in a seamless fashion."
